Robot vacuum and wet mop combo with dual rollers launching at special price
At CES 2026, the xLean TR1 attracted considerable attention. After all, this new floor-cleaning solution combines a robot vacuum and mop with a wet-dry vacuum cleaner. The innovation has now gone on sale, at least to some extent. The xLean TR1 has been available on Kickstarter since yesterday.
The crowdfunding campaign offers discounts of up to 47 percent, with pricing starting at $899 or €852. The eventual retail price will be nearly double that amount. Shipping for Kickstarter backers, who accept the inherent risks of such campaigns, is scheduled to begin in September 2026 and will cover many countries, including numerous markets in Europe.
The xLean TR1 differs significantly from what is currently known on the market for several reasons. First, it is a robot vacuum that can transform into a conventional wet-dry vacuum cleaner by attaching a wand, allowing for manual operation. In addition, it also supports gamepad control.
The second special feature is that the xLean TR1 does not just have a single roller mop, as is common with various other robot vacuums, such as the Mova Z60 Ultra Roller Complete (approx. $899 on Amazon) or the Ecovacs Deebot T90 Pro Omni (approx. $899 on Amazon).
Instead, it features two roller mops rotating at 400 rpm, with which the manufacturer promises even more thorough and faster floor cleaning. The suction power is 17,000 Pa. Navigation is handled via 360-degree LiDAR and a front-facing camera system that also performs AI stain detection. Also included in the scope of delivery is a cleaning and docking station, which cleans the mop rollers with 75°C hot water and subsequently dries them.
