Renders of six new and upcoming Motorola smartphones leak, including one with an under-display camera
Motorola has already confirmed that it will be announcing new smartphones on February 24, as we have discussed separately. While the company has not mentioned how many smartphones it plans to release later this month, Evan Blass has revealed renders of six unreleased devices. As the images below show, Blass claims that Motorola has codenamed the devices as follows, excluding the Edge 30 Pro:
- Motorola 'Austin'
- Motorola 'Dubai'
- Motorola 'Hawaii+'
- Motorola 'Rhode'
- Motorola 'Rogue'
It is unclear under what series will release these devices, but they all appear to have 50 MP primary cameras. Additionally, Blass asserts that the Motorola 'Rhode' will arrive in 4G and 5G variants; we cannot determine which renders represent the 4G or 5G models, though.
Also, Blass re-affirms that the Edge 30 Pro is the global version of the Edge X30, released last year in China. The leaker has even shown a novel folio case that has a long strip for an always-on display and a built-in stylus holder. By contrast, it seems that the Motorola 'Rogue' is the Edge X30 Special Edition on account of its under-display camera. Unfortunately, Blass has only provided the codenames of these devices so far. Their release at this month's launch event is not guaranteed, either.
