Last month, WinFuture revealed an unreleased Motorola smartphone, supposedly codenamed 'Frontier 22'. Now, Evan Blass has leaked more renders of the device that show it from more sides and in a higher resolution.
Previously, it was unclear how large the device's camera housing would be. However, Blass' leak demonstrates that it is sizeable and actually contains two elements. Motorola has raised the primary camera element away from the main housing for some reason.
In fact, the camera housing looks almost as thick as the device itself. As the marketing render shows, the primary camera offers a 194 MP native resolution. Purportedly, Motorola has equipped the Frontier with the ISOCELL HP1, Samsung's first 200 MP camera sensor.
Additionally, the device is expected to arrive with a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 12 MP telephoto sensor that supports 2x optical zoom. Unfortunately, the date shown is a placeholder; April 3 falls on a Sunday in 2022. Motorola is rumoured to announce the Frontier in July 2022, for reference.
