Realme now officially has a second-gen GT Neo ready to go - which, as the OEM only just introduced its first generation, not to mention the GT series as a whole in the same year, is moving as fast as this latest variant's two-tone colorway might be intended to suggest.
The BBK Electronics-owned brand has indeed confirmed that it will come in the distinctive black and green combination hinted at in an earlier trailer. This finish, to be called <strike>Chocolate Lime</strike> Black Mint, is applied to a rear panel with a camera hump that looks much like that of the OnePlus 9, albeit one with the lenses re-arranged.
On the (literal) flip side, Realme has also let it be known that the Neo2 will, much like its predecessor, benefit from an E4 AMOLED display with a variable 30-120Hz refresh rate, a 600Hz touch-sampling rate and up to 10,240 local dimming zones. Therefore, it seems the phone will launch with a cutting-edge screen - or one that would be, rather, were it not for the new, state-of-the-art E5 technology now out there in the form of iQOO's latest flagship.
Nevertheless, the GT Neo2 still stands to offer an enjoyable gaming and content-consumption experience. Finally, the eminent tipster Digital Chat Station has posted hints at what, oddly enough, seems to be a new version of the original Neo, but with this new Black Mint rear panel, to launch alongside the newer model on September 22, 2021 as its "alternative" variant.
