Update: Realme has now confirmed that the GT Neo2T will launch, as one of 5 "surprises", on October 19, 2021. The OEM has yet to acknowledge rumors of its Dimensity processor; however, Digital Chat Station now has more to let slip with regard to the phone. The tipster now asserts that it has been co-designed with the sports apparel brand owned by Olympic gymnast Li Ning, a collaboration that has resulted in an intricate, circuit-board-like pattern on the device's rear panel.
Original Article: The Realme GT Neo2 is the newest addition to its performance-focused, high-end line of mobile devices. It is powered by Qualcomm's just-sub-flagship processor the Snapdragon 870. However, should there be users for whom this spec is a dealbreaker, the OEM allegedly has them covered with an upcoming MediaTek version of the new phone.
This "GT Neo 2T" may be on the way with a Dimensity 1200 - the same SoC as in the first-gen Neo, which is in itself effectively a remix of the flagship GT designed around this silicon. However, it is expected to remain constant in terms of all of the rest of its specs. They include a triple rear camera set-up with a 64MP main sensor in an up-to-date modern housing.
This rumor is potentially backed up by registrations reportedly discovered by the eminent leaker Digital Chat Station, which points to the certification of a novel Realme model number (RMX 3357), corresponding to a 5G device that runs Android.
Therefore, this "2T" variant might underpin Realme's ongoing "dual-flagship dual platform" strategy. It may at least get its own signature colorway, which, according to a different tipster, Seventh Spring, might make the latest GT Neo variant the "Flash Carnival Exploration Vibrant Wave Play Edition" of its series.
Then again, the veracity of all this potential new detail all depends on official confirmation from Realme, which is yet to be forthcoming.
