Realme introduced its 6-series of phones to the European market at the end of March 2020, albeit with 1 bewildering omission: its Pro variant. Now, the OEM has cleared this up with the announcement of a standalone virtual launch event for this device.

The Realme 5's successor debuted in Europe on March 31, 2020 without its Pro counterpart. However, this phone's maker has just revealed that it is coming to this market after all. It will launch on May 5, 2020 at 10:00 CET.

To recap briefly, the Realme 6 Pro is a phone with a 90 hertz (Hz) refresh rate in its dual punch-hole display and a unique 'lightning-flash' effect in its glass rear panel. The OEM has yet to reveal how much it will cost in Euros, although customers may expect to pay a little over €299.90 (~US$329), as this is the top-end Realme 6 SKU's price.

This event will also introduce the 5i to this market (even though its own next generation is in fact also on sale here). It is a budget device with the Snapdragon 665 SoC and 4GB of RAM, but may make up for this with a 5000mAh battery. Realme has publicly set its price at €159.90 (~$175) already, although it may not be purchased via its EU webpages until its new launch date.
