The Realme Note 50 is a cheaper, trimmed-down version of the Realme C51 (approx. 138 euros on Amazon), as the two smartphones share many features and even the design. The Note 50 has a 7.99-millimeter-thin casing, which looks quite modern thanks to the flat frame, the relatively narrow screen edges, and the "triple camera".
However, there is only an LED flash in one of the three camera bumps and a useless 0.08 MP sensor in the second, with only the main camera promising usable images thanks to its 13-megapixel sensor. The 5 MP selfie camera is located in a discreet notch in the 6.74-inch IPS panel. Although the display achieves a frame rate of 90 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 180 Hz, it only has a resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels and a peak brightness of 560 nits.
A Unisoc T612 works inside - a 12 nm ARM chip in the lower mid-range, which was launched on the market in 2022. Unisoc combines two ARM Cortex-A75 performance cores with clock frequencies of up to 1.8 GHz with six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores at 1.8 GHz. In addition, the Realme Note 50 always has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of flash memory, which can be expanded using a microSD card reader. A fingerprint sensor, a 5,000 mAh battery, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, IP54 certification, and Android 13 round off the features.
