Realme has just announced that the upcoming Neo7 Turbo will be its first ever Android smartphone for the Chinese market with the Dimensity 9400e SoC.
The processor's core specs are virtually identical to those of the 9300+ found in the original Neo7 - however, the brand touts its impending Turbo counterpart as the faster, more modern and more powerful of the 2.
It is also now officially slated to have a 144Hz display, compared to 120Hz in the Neo7, and also to have the higher peak brightness at 1,800 nits, not to mention upgraded 4,608Hz PWM technology - with thinner 1.3mm bezels to boot.
It will be 6.8 inches in diagonal length, according to the legendary leaker Digital Chat Station, despite Realme's (machine-translated) descriptions of the Turbo as a "little" performance powerhouse.
The Neo7 Turbo has also been upgraded to an even higher-capacity 7,200mAh battery - which also charges faster than the Neo7 over USB-C at 100W.
The Turbo will also ditched the block color rear panels of the Neo7 series to date for a Nothing-inspired design, to come in either Transparent Gray or Transparent Black ahead of the new smartphone's May 29, 2025 launch, whereupon its price and availability will be revealed.
