While biometrics could definitely be polished, pros definitely outweigh the cons. The speaker setup and bloatware are solid gripes, but I can look past it. General consensus — you should definitely look into this phone if you need a reliable device that can do it all. It’s not the best at everything, but it can surely step up!

The C65 covers the must-haves for an entry-level phone, and it stands out for a design that’s more unique compared to its rivals. There may be a few compromises, but realme incorporated relevant upgrades to the C65, especially with the camera and charging speeds. The next big question is how much it will be priced in the Philippines: in Bangladesh, the C65 retails for around Php 10k for the 8GB/128GB variant, but we expect the pricing to be lower when it launches in the Philippines.

The Realme C65 5G provides exceptional bang for your buck. At a low price of just ₹10,499, the phone provides smooth performance, class-leading battery life, and impressive photos in daylight. This takes care of the three pillars of a smartphone that most users covet – performance, battery, and camera. Competing phones such as the Lava Blaze 2 and POCO M6 Pro fall short in terms of camera and GPU performance. However, all is not perfect. The Realme C65 – like most budget Realme phones – has excessive bloatware. Additionally, the base variant’s 64 GB storage is lacklustre by 2024 standards. The rampant democratisation of 5G in India is birthing a new era of affordable 5G-enabled phones with a few compromises to keep the costs in check.

The Realme C65 5G offers a deal that might just set the bar for sub-Rs 10K smartphones, starting at a price of Rs 9,999 for the 4GB+64GB variant (Rs 500 bank offer included). It delivers terrific performance that rivals pricier smartphones, offers an impressive battery backup, boasts the highest refresh rate of 120Hz in the sub-Rs 10K segment, and provides good daylight cameras. The smartphone’s primary rivals are the POCO M6 Pro 5G (review), Lava Blaze 2 (review), and the Moto G24 Power (review). The former two provide a great performance output for the price, comparable to the Realme C65 5G. The M6 Pro offers a higher resolution display (FHD+), which improves the visual experience, while the Blaze 2 and the G24 Power come with a stock Android-like UI.

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.
» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.85%: This rating is slightly above average, there are somewhat more devices with worse ratings. However, clear purchase recommendations look different.
