The Razer Blade 17 provides excellent performance and gorgeous visuals, albeit for a lot of money. In terms of performance, it's similar to its close competitors — although said competitors don't offer full 4K screens, so you'll have to take that into account. If you're in the market for a powerful 17-inch gaming laptop, the Alienware m17 R4 is also worth considering, as is the Maingear Vector Pro. But there's something undeniably stylish about the Razer Blade 17's design, and you'll get good performance for both work and play.

Razer Blade 17 RTX 3080 Ti
Razer Blade 17 (2022) is the famous gaming laptop which comes with a bunch of upgrades including the Intel's 12th Gen processors and a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080TI. The Razer Blade 17 includes the AC adapter, documentation, and a Razer logo sticker. Razer includes a two-year limited battery warranty as standard, along with the basic one-year limited laptop warranty, with every new 12th-generation Blade model purchased. The external chassis is the same as last year's model, but there are two key visual differences. First, the keyboard's keycaps are now larger than those on older models. Second, you now only see three fans through the grille on the bottom of the unit, not four, since Razer has removed one of the fans.
As for the display, the 17 inch IPS display fully covers the DCI-P3 color gamut to meet the needs of digital artists, while offering fast black and white response times, fast refresh rates, and the G-Sync compatibility gamers want. The webcam is 1080p or 2-megapixel, and unlike the 720p or 1-megapixel webcams on most other laptops, it has a sharper image. The Razer Blade 17 is equipped with DDR5 memory as standard for the first time, and can be equipped with an RTX 3080Ti graphics chip with built-in 16GB DDR6 memory. User can also opt for the RTX 3070 Ti, which Razer says is 70 percent faster than the 2020 RTX 2070 and can output up to 100fps at 1440p. The Blade 17 is one of the few gaming laptops that supports advanced optimizations, which means users can switch between optimized and dGPU G-Sync modes without rebooting.
Port options remain the same as the 10th Gen Intel model except for one key difference. Both USB-C ports now support Thunderbolt instead of just one. To accommodate this year's more demanding processors, the 2022 Blade 17 comes with a higher-capacity 280-watt AC adapter. The new model is also compatible with last year's AC adapter, but performance may suffer as the newer 2022 model uses a larger-capacity 280-watt adapter. The battery capacity is larger than the 2021 Blade 17 due to the elimination of the fourth fan. However, there is no improvement in battery life as the CPU and GPU requirements are higher with this update. It takes about 90 minutes to go from empty to full with the included AC adapter. USB-C charging is supported which is a plus. In conclusion, Razer has tweaked the laptop accordingly to accommodate with higher power requirements by the new hardwares although it is at the expense of a cooling fan. With such a strong focus on performance, the 165W GPU in the Razer is able to outperform most other laptops with the same GPU.
