The QK65 Mk3 is a 65 percent mechanical keyboard with an arrow cluster. While there are no function row or numpad, this compact input device is available in five retro-themed colors, including Eclipse Grey, Green, Retro White, Basalt Grey, and Pink.
The base model starts at $199 and features a CNC aluminium case, a hot-swap PCB, and an integrated display. Customers also get stabilizers and can choose an aluminium, polypropylene, or FR4 plate.
However, for paying just $14 more for a themed keycap set, Qwertykeys will throw in a pack of 70 Rye switches for free.
One of the QK65 Mk3’s distinguishing features is the built-in screen, which users can customize with different animations. The display features a clock with a cat or dog that responds to typing. It can also show device information such as battery level, caps lock status, and connection mode. Another feature is the “Animal Supermarket” typing game.
The Qwertykeys QK65 Mk3 is powered by two 3,100-mAh-capacity batteries. It offers both Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz connectivity options, controlled by two low-profile knobs at the top right corner. Users can remap keys, adjust the keyboard’s per-key RGB backlighting, and customise the display with a tailored VIA fork. ISO layout is available only with the 7u spacebar option.
