Processor and graphics core of the Lenovo Legion 5 17IMH05 are able to run at constant full power

The Lenovo Legion 5 17IMH05 is one of the gaming notebooks in the 17.3-inch format. At a price just below 1000 Euros (~$1172), the equipment variant made available to us represents one of the currently most affordable models of the series.

The built-in combination of a Core i5-10300H processor (Comet Lake) and GeForce GTX-1650 graphics core brings all the current computer games to the screen smoothly. However, the highest resolutions and quality settings are only possible to a limited extent. You don't have to worry about performance drops, since the computing cores are able to run at their respective maximum speeds even over longer time periods.

The hardware includes 8 GB of working memory (single-channel mode). To be able to use the hardware optimally, we recommend activating dual-channel mode by inserting a second working memory module. At 512 GB, the storage space is a bit limited for a gaming notebook. However, you can upgrade by expanding the notebook storage with an additional 2.5-inch storage medium or a second NMVe SSD.

The battery life turns out exceptionally good, and the computer realistically lasts between 11 and 14 hours on a battery charge. Most office notebooks can only dream of such values, and the combination of a large 80 Wh capacity battery and relatively efficient hardware shows its worth here.
