ProArt Keyboard KD300: Asus releases new 65% wireless keyboard with global launch coming

Asus has now released the ProArt Keyboard KD300. Unveiled in January, the ProArt Keyboard KD300 is a 65% wireless keyboard with a high-end appearance like the rest of the ProArt range. In that sense, the ProArt Keyboard KD300 could be an option for those who might be interested in a more premium alternative to something like Logitech's MX Keys Mini (curr. $99.99 on Amazon).
To recap, the ProArt Keyboard KD300 is particularly compact and low-profile thanks to its 26.8 mm housing. Nonetheless, Asus equips the wireless keyboard with its RX Red Low-Profile optical switches that offer 1.0 mm actuation and up to 55 g of per-key feedback. Also, the ProArt Keyboard KD300 supports two tilt angles and silicone dampening to reduce echoes and pinging when typing.
Not only that, but the ProArt Keyboard KD300 offers Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz wireless and wired modes with five devices remembered at a time. Meanwhile, the keyboard's rear features a touch panel for adjusting keyboard lighting and controlling media playback. These uses can be adjusted in Asus' Gear Link software too.
Moreover, Asus rates the ProArt Keyboard KD300 for up to 16 months of battery life between charges. The company has set pricing at CNY 999 (~$145) in China. Global pricing and availability have not yet been confirmed, though. However, Asus has stated international availability is planned. Please see the company's website for more details.
