KeyGo Gen 2 is a portable 2-in-1 display keyboard that can bring mini PCs to life

Like its predecessor, the KeyGo Gen 2 combines a display and a keyboard that can be folded to make it easier to carry. This gadget is now crowdfunding, and backers have to pledge $280 plus shipping to reserve a unit. Deliveries are expected to arrive in May 2026. All crowdfunding campaigns involve financial risks for buyers, and losing the entire pledge is possible. That said, the first generation of the KeyGo was apparently shipped to backers and largely met its promised specifications.
Either way, the new KeyGo Gen 2 features a 13-inch touchscreen and can recognize input from up to ten fingers for multi-touch gestures. Compared to the previous model, the resolution has increased, as the slightly smaller 12.8-inch display only offered 1920 x 720 pixels, but the refresh rate remains 60Hz. The gadget can be hooked up to various devices, so it can also serve as a display for a mini PC, but it can also be used as an additional screen alongside a primary monitor. Two USB Type-C ports are available, and power is supplied via USB PD.
The display is recognized like a regular monitor, so any content can be shown without installing a driver. Speakers have now been added as well, and the KeyGo Gen 2 measures 12.6 x 5.9 x 0.8 inches and weighs 2.2 lb. The keyboard further sports an adjustable backlight with different effects. If the campaign meets certain funding milestones, the manufacturer plans to add additional keyboard layouts, adjustable brightness and Bluetooth connectivity. The project has already been successfully funded, although the target of just over $3,800 appears to be more of a placeholder.
