Twitter leaker Roland Quandt has revealed pricing details for Sony's upcoming XZ1 and XZ1 Compact high-end offerings. While both won't qualify for the bargain market, they're appropriately priced.

Sony is billed to announce the releases of its two new flagship-grade devices on August 31, at IFA 2017. The devices, the XZ1 and XZ1 Compact, will offer smaller displays accompanied by top-of-the-line hardware, with the XZ1 Compact in particular being, possibly, the only device with a sub-five-inch display to feature Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 835.

Known leaker Roland Quandt, in a tweet earlier in the day, revealed the prices of both devices. According to the tweet, The XZ1 will come with a price tag of 599 GBP, and the XZ1 Compact with a 499 GBP one. That's the equivalent of US$767 and US$640 respectively. Those are decent prices, really, as the XZ1 is priced in the same ballpark as other flagships like the Moto Z2 Force, Galaxy S8, and HTC U11. The XZ1 Compact is an even better deal, and lovers of smaller devices will be thrilled.

The XZ1 sports a 5.2" FHD display with HDR, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage, a Snapdragon 835, and a 3000mAh battery. Its pint-sized sibling, the XZ1 Compact, sports a 4.6" FHD display, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage, a Snapdragon 835, and a 2800mAh battery.

We'll be sure to keep you updated on both devices.
