In exactly seventeen days, Samsung will unveil its latest set of flagship phones, the Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra. A leak from a few days ago gave us our first look at pricing details of the phones, and a new one has now shown an official promotional poster for the phones.
The poster reveals a few things: images of the S20+, S20 Ultra, and Galaxy Buds+, while also confirming that those devices will carry those names.
Going by the poster, shared by known leakster Evan Blass, those who pre-order the S20+ or S20 Ultra will get a free pair of Samsung's TWS Galaxy Buds+. The Galaxy Buds+ are expected to be launched alongside the S20 phones. While they won't offer Active Noise Cancellation, they'll feature bigger batteries than the first-gen Galaxy Buds and will likely bring improved audio and mic quality to the table.
The poster gives us our first official look at the S20+ and S20 Ultra too. There's nothing novel about the images, as they look exactly like the renders that were leaked over the past few days. Both phones sport camera bumps, with the S20 Ultra's being rather prominent.
It's a bit annoying that buyers of the Galaxy S20 will not be eligible for the Galaxy Buds+ offer, just like the S10e last year. This further confirms the theory that the S20 is a replacement for the S10e. The phone has been touted to come with a US$899 base price tag, and paying such a price just to get shafted on this deal is unlikely to sit well with potential buyers.
