Xiaomi has now confirmed that the Poco X6 Pro, scheduled to launch on January 11, will run the company's new HyperOS straight out of the box. Sadly, however, it appears the two other smartphones billed to launch alongside the Poco X6 Pro do not enjoy that perk.

Xiaomi has since confirmed the Poco X6 series and Poco M6 Pro 4G for a January 11 launch event. Ahead of that date, the company has taken to revealing tidbits about the devices and has now confirmed the presence of its all-new HyperOS skin on the Poco X6 Pro at launch.

This would make the Poco X6 Pro the first smartphone from Xiaomi to launch globally with HyperOS out of the box, indicating where the phone stands on Xiaomi's priority list. It's important to point out, however, that the Poco X6 Pro will be the only one of the three devices to ship with HyperOS. Both the vanilla Poco X6 and Poco M6 Pro are expected to run MIUI at launch, although the HyperOS update will likely arrive soon after.

Speaking of the Poco X6 and Poco M6 Pro, Xiaomi has also confirmed the chipsets they will be powered by. The Poco X6 will sport the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, and the Poco M6 Pro the Helio G99-Ultra. The star of the show will, of course, be the Poco X6 Pro, which will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra, with Xiaomi teasing an AnTuTu total score of 1,464,228 for the device.
