#PMChallenge: a new contest to design a new feature for OnePlus phones
Do you have what it takes to compile a design for a new software feature? OnePlus may be offering a unique opportunity to do just that. The OEM has announced a new contest on its official community website that calls for submissions that bring out your inner product manager. The winner of the appropriately-named PMChallenge will then apparently see their idea implemented in a future update to OxygenOS, the company's skin for Android.
Those interested in this competition will need to have an account with the OnePlus official community forum in order to post their entry. Further instructions to do so are found in the announcement thread's original post. The submission will have to answer specific questions such as the user group the idea targets, the problem it solves and how it solves it. An entry to this contest may also require explanatory diagrams in order to clinch a victory. It will then be judged by members of the OnePlus product, development and user-experience teams.
The PMChallenge runs from today (February 4, 2019) until February 22. Therefore, those who have always wanted to prove their software-design skills may be advised to start outlining their winning ideas now. The winner will also gain a VIP experience in order to witness the launch of their very own OxygenOS feature.
