Pros
Cons
The Oukitel WP68 Air is a rugged 5G smartphone designed for daily use and extended battery life. Its Dimensity 7025 processor is paired with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. The 6.88-inch IPS display offers a 120 Hz refresh rate but has a modest 1640 × 720 resolution. An 8,000 mAh battery delivers significantly longer endurance than typical mainstream smartphones. Its camera system includes a 64 MP main sensor and a 32 MP front camera, although reviews describe the imaging quality as adequate rather than exceptional. With an average rating of about 70%, the phone is considered practical and relatively portable for its rugged class, but competing models may provide better performance near its $420 price.

That being said, the Oukitels absolutely crush my S22 on battery life (and every other phone I've had). My S22 has a 3,700-mAh battery. The WP68 Air has 8,000 mAh. The WP500 Ultra has 10,000 mAh. That's the difference between "My phone is about to die (sad face)." and "I accidentally left my charger in another county, but I'll be back in a few days, so it's fine."

With the price of everything that uses memory and flash storage increasing, for a casual observer, the $420 asking price for the WP68 Air seems reasonable. It’s a lightweight, rugged design that would be fine as a daily driver for many. The cameras are fine, and the amount of RAM and storage keeps it moving along quite smoothly. However, there are a number of alternatives on the market, at least one of which is made by Oukitel itself, that seem to offer better performance and greater potential for around the same price. If performance is the focus, the latter is the better choice. But if a significantly more portable rugged phone for daily use is what you're looking for, that's where the WP68 Air slots in nicely.
