OnePlus has presented its next flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 10 Pro. Consider today's unveiling a soft launch though, because OnePlus will not actually launch the OnePlus 10 Pro until January 11. However, several Chinese retailers have listed the OnePlus 10 Pro on their websites, including JD.com, Suning and Tmall.
Unsurprisingly, the OnePlus 10 Pro relies on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, Qualcomm's latest flagship SoC. OnePlus has paired the 4 nm chipset with three memory configurations, starting with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage is also available, as are Emerald Forest and Volcanic Black colourways.
OnePlus has not confirmed other specifications, such as camera hardware and the device's display. Based on previous leaks, the OnePlus 10 Pro has a 48 MP primary camera, a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, an 8 MP telephoto camera and a 32 MP selfie camera. At least the rear-facing cameras are tuned by Hasselblad, a partnership that began with the OnePlus 9 Pro. A 5,000 mAh battery should be onboard too, along with a wireless charging coil that supports up to 50 W fast charging.
It is unclear when the OnePlus 10 Pro will launch globally. Presumably, OnePlus will offer the device in both colours presented today and with ColorOS 12, Oppo and OnePlus' version of Android 12.
