OnePlus One up for pre-order later today

This long-awaited handset will be available for pre-order to anyone later today, but only for one hour.

OnePlus One could become a very popular high-end smartphone once its manufacturer succeeds to keep up with the demand. Unfortunately, the pre-order period does not only start today, it also ends in a few hours as well. Those who wish to buy this 5.5-inch Cyanogen Mod-powered device only have one hour at their disposal to place their orders.

The pre-order period for OnePlus One is 16:00 - 17:00 CET/ 8 AM - 9 AM PST/ 11 AM - 12 PM EST and these are the rules:

  • A OnePlus account is required, but you can sign up for it already.
  • Each order is limited to two units of each item.
  • All prices are final upon confirmation of the order, as well as customer name. Shipping address can be changed within the same country even after confirmation.
  • Pre-orders can be cancelled before shipping, but no changes can be done to the items in the list.
  • If the payment does not go through in a timely manner, the pre-order will not be processed.

OnePlus One will ship with the features and specs revealed already - 4G LTE connectivity, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC coupled with 3 GB RAM and 16 GB or 64 GB internal storage, 13 MP main camera with 6-lens optics, 3100 mAh battery. The phablet will be available in Silk White (16 GB and $299 USD) and Sandstone Black (64 GB, $349 USD).

The madness starts in less than 6 hours, so get ready!
