OnePlus released the OnePlus 13T in China back in April and eventually took it to India as the OnePlus 13s earlier this month. It appears the company plans on maintaining the series moving forward, with a new leak now indicating a direct successor, expected to be branded as the "OnePlus 15T", is in the works.
According to a now edited post by Digital Chat Station, OnePlus is working on a successor to the OnePlus 13T. Seeing as the company is expected to skip the "14" nomenclature entirely, this next-gen device will likely be branded as the OnePlus 15T. Reportedly, the OnePlus 15T is scheduled to debut in the first half of next year. As such, it wouldn't be surprising to see it launch around April or May, much like the 13T.
The OnePlus 15T is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, Qualcomm's next-gen flagship chipset. In addition, the compact flagship is tipped to feature a larger battery than the OnePlus 15—mirroring the relationship between the 13T and 13. Interestingly, it appears the OnePlus 15T will ditch the optical fingerprint reader on the 13T in favor of an ultrasonic sensor, potentially signaling fewer corners cut on the next-gen compact premium phone.
