OnePlus 15 official magnetic protective cases showcased ahead of imminent launch

OnePlus is gearing up to launch multiple phones in China, which include the brand's first Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 flagship phone, the OnePlus 15. It will be fully unveiled on October 27, 2025. Right before its Chinese debut, the company showcased the official magnetic cases that will be available for the smartphone.

To be specific, the brand has showcased three magnetic cases for the OnePlus 15. These, just like the protective cases for the last-gen phone, will allow the smartphone to work with magnetic accessories, such as MagSafe-like wireless chargers and magnetic power banks (Baseus 5K PicoGo curr. $22.99 on Amazon).

That said, among the three, one is called the Sandstone Magnetic Case. It comes with the classic sandstone texture that's reminiscent of the back of the Sandstone OnePlus One. Another official accessory that was showcased by the brand is the Aramid Fiber Case, featuring skin-soft interweaved textures.

As for the last one, it's called the Magnetic Hole Case, and the brand says that it's an open canvas for customization. The hollow design is also said to facilitate heat dissipation, allowing the phone to stay cool during heavy loads.

The company notes that these magnetic cases make the OnePlus 15 compatible with the Oppo Mag ecosystem. With the case, the phone should also work like MagSafe and other magnetic accessories. Global prices and availability details of the phone and its accessory lineup should emerge soon after the October 27 Chinese launch.
