OnePlus continues to tease new details about the OnePlus 13s on its way to being released in India. To recap, the company revealed the full design of its latest compact flagship earlier this week. Prior to that, it outlined that the OnePlus 13s would feature the same Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset as other small flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S25 (curr. $599.97 - refurbished on Amazon).
Now, it has shared details about the device's Action Button equivalent, which replaces the Alert Slider found on earlier OnePlus smartphones. While the hardware change has been known for some time, today marks the first time that OnePlus has referred to the new button as the 'Plus Key'.
Based on the tweet embedded below, the Plus Key will offer the choice between more than half a dozen shortcuts, including an option to summon an AI assistant. Moreover, the Plus Key can be configured to take a screenshot, enable the flashlight or even cycle the ringer like the old Alert Slider.
Unfortunately, it is still a mystery at this stage as to when the OnePlus 13s will be available. However, OnePlus has previously confirmed that the handset will not be making its way to Europe or North America. Nonetheless, the OnePlus 13T is available as an import worldwide from $599, with which the OnePlus 13s should share almost all its specifications.
