OPPO Reno8 to debut with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 as other specs leak
OPPO launched the Reno7 in China back in November. Nearly five months later, it appears the company has its sights set on the next generation of devices in the series, the Reno8, and a new leak has now revealed early details.
As shared by leaker Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the OPPO Reno8 will debut with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. That likely means it will be the first phone with that chipset on the market. The OPPO Reno7 launched with a Snapdragon 778G in China, so a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 would be the logical step up.
In addition to that, the leaker has also provided specs of a device speculated to be the OPPO Reno8. That phone will sport a 6.55-inch FHD+ 120 Hz AMOLED, a 50 MP main camera, 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, 2 MP camera, and a 32 MP selfie shooter. Supplying juice will be a 4500 mAh battery, with 80 W charging to keep charge times down.
