Deal | Now 80% off on Steam, this grand strategy game is praised by 84% of players

Age of History 3 is a grand strategy game developed by Łukasz Jakowski that lets you relive human history, from the dawn of civilization to the distant future. And currently, it is available for $1.99 on Steam.

With over a hundred civilizations to choose from, you'll need to build your empire and guide it through the ages to conquer the world. To help you achieve this, several mechanics are available.

You'll need to gather resources, construct more than 90 unique buildings, and advance through the technology tree. Each new technology will bring its own set of benefits.

Conquest also requires military strength. For this, more than 63 different types of units are available, and you’ll have to carefully select which ones to deploy in the front and second lines. But be careful, because there will be casualties, and you’ll need to employ the right strategy during every battle.

In addition, managing your manpower will be key, as it will enable you to recruit new troops. Other mechanics, such as religion, laws, and reforms, can also help you achieve your objective.

At the time of writing, 84% of its 19,146 reviews on Steam are positive. Players enjoy the ability to start their games in different eras and play as numerous civilizations. Its gameplay is also well liked, although it has several flaws. Indeed, the game lacks a tutorial, making it difficult to understand its mechanics. The user interface has been criticized, and numerous bugs have been reported. In addition, some players have criticized the AI-generated images.

As for its price, this 80% discount will end on October 17, 2026. And according to SteamDB, it will go back to $9.99.
