Deal | This gothic action RPG, with 85% positive reviews, is under $5 on Steam

Victor Vran is an action RPG in which you play as a demon hunter of the same name. You’re plunged into the city of Zagoravia, where you must protect its inhabitants from demonic creatures.

You can choose from a variety of weapons, equipment, skills, and powers to suit your playstyle. Each weapon type offers a basic attack and two special attacks that you'll have to master.

However, facing the demons won't be easy. As you explore this city, divided into several areas, you'll need to dodge attacks and rely on your special abilities and powers. There are many types of enemies, including bosses, each with different behaviors.

The Tome of Souls, Highlander's Outfit, and Cauldron of Chaos DLCs are also available for free with this game. They bring new content, such as weapons, customization options, and challenges.

With 85% of its 6,466 reviews being positive, Victor Vran is among the games rated "Very Positive" on Steam. On Metacritic, however, it has a Metascore of 75 and a user score of 7.5 based on 143 reviews. In fact, players enjoy the game’s atmosphere and environments. It also seems easy to pick up, with arcade-style gameplay. However, the customization options highlighted by Haemimont Games seem somewhat limited. In addition, the gameplay can become repetitive as you progress, and the controls don't seem intuitive.

Victor Vran is currently 75% off on Steam and available for $4.99 instead of $19.99. And according to SteamDB, this sale ends on October 19, 2026.
