Super Farming Boy is 95% off on Steam until October 16.
In Super Farming Boy, farming becomes a superhero's job: Instead of using ordinary tools, players simply transform themselves into a watering can, shovel or axe. The unusual farming game is currently 95% off on Steam, dropping to just $0.54 for the first time.

In Super Farming Boy, players take on the role of Super, a young hero who must stand up to the ruthless KORPO corporation. Not only has the company kidnapped his mother and friends, but it also forces him to work on his own farm and hand over most of his earnings in taxes. To rescue his loved ones, Super must earn as much money as possible and buy back his stolen abilities. However, this has little to do with relaxing farm life. Instead, the game revolves around fast-paced harvesting combos, tricky puzzle mechanics and plenty of superpowers.

Super can easily do without ordinary gardening tools while working on his farm. That's because he can simply transform himself into a watering can, shovel, axe or pickaxe. However, having the right tool is only half the battle: Anyone looking to maximize their farm's profits also needs to be clever about growing crops. Each plant species has its own characteristics and can activate neighboring plots when harvested. By cleverly combining different crops, players can trigger massive chain reactions that allow them to harvest entire fields at once. Particularly long combos also fill the meter for the so-called Fever Mode, which promises even greater yields.

Beyond working the fields, players collect resources, expand their property and unlock new abilities. Animal helpers can also be rescued from KORPO's clutches and will then take over some of the work. Unusual seasons add further variety: Instead of spring and fall, players may encounter radioactive or volcanic conditions, for example, requiring new crops and different farming strategies.

Steam players particularly praise Super Farming Boy for its satisfying harvesting combos, charming cartoon art style and excellent soundtrack. On the downside, the sometimes uneven difficulty, slow progression and high tax payments later in the game have drawn criticism. Nevertheless, the overall reception is positive, with 92% of just over 100 reviews recommending the game.

First-ever 95% discount on Steam

Super Farming Boy entered Early Access on August 12, 2025, and normally costs $10.99 on Steam. However, the current 95% discount brings the price down to just $0.54 until October 16. According to SteamDB, the previous maximum discount was 90%, making the current offer a new all-time low. On the Steam Deck, Super Farming Boy is rated "Verified."

By the way: Developer LemonChili Soft originally planned an Early Access period of at least twelve months. That period has now passed, but a firm release date for the full version has yet to be announced. Planned additions include more seasons, new super tools and boss battles.
