New leaks provide more details about the upcoming Aliens game

Aliens is a franchise that fascinates and frightens many people around the world. And according to new leaks, a new game based on this license could soon be unveiled. 

To understand this, it's important to note that this would be a direct sequel to Aliens: Fireteam Elite, released in 2021, which is a third-person shooter game in which players must complete twelve missions that take place after the events of the main trilogy. And while the first rumors emerged in 2024, an M rating was recently published on the ESRB website, allowing Polygon to uncover two important pieces of information.

Thus, this new Aliens game will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and will be published by Daybreak Game Company. As a reminder, Cold Iron Studios, which developed Aliens: Fireteam Elite, is owned by this publisher.

While these are just rumors, as the link provided by Polygon currently redirects to a 404 error, it should be noted that the classification of games by organizations such as the ESRB is often one of the final steps before release. 

In addition, leaks from last year estimated that this game would be released in late 2025, which is consistent with this information. And if this is the case, we can hope that this sequel will be more successful than Aliens: Fireteam Elite, which received mixed reviews upon its release, even though it now has excellent ratings on Steam.
