The Xiaomi Mi Band 5 fitness tracker’s features have recently been under the microscope, with a wealth of details revealed to attract future potential buyers. However, it seems there is even more to be discovered with the upcoming wearable from Xiaomi in regard to the utilities it will offer users, including a handy smartphone camera controller.
Apparently, Xiaomi Mi Band 5 wearers will be able to utilize the camera controller app to remotely access their smartphone’s camera setup to take photos. Along with that feature, the Mi Band 5 comes with 11 workout exercises, with five new ones having been added to the existing set, including yoga and rowing.
Anolog watch faces were also unearthed for the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Band 5, which will please users who don’t want to settle for a digital clock display. Those who travel frequently will also be glad of the on-board world clock utility. The Mi Band 5 fitness tracker is rapidly gearing up to be a huge improvement over its popular predecessor, and it is expected to be released in the second half of 2020.
