Ultrahuman is set to release a new wearable, the Ring Pro, in the near future. Rumors about this upcoming product follow in the wake of the halting of sales of the Ultrahuman Ring Air in the US, the result of an Oura related lawsuit. In a blog post relating to this issue, the company confirmed that it had a new ring design in development that would be released in the US “as soon as possible.”
Now, a report by LordOfTheSmartRings indicates that the Ring Pro could be nearing launch. This new Ultrahuman wearable is thought to be slimmer than its predecessor, and could offer upgraded sensors to improve the accuracy of health metrics like heart rate and SpO2 level.
Another rumored feature is support for contactless payments via NFC. A trademark filing from July 2025, which names the Ultrahuman Ring Pro, explicitly mentions “downloadable computer software for use in contactless transactions with retailers, merchants, and vendors via mobile and wearable devices”. However, Ultrahuman has yet to officially confirm that its new wearable will offer this functionality.
LordOfTheSmartRings suggests that this wearable could be released in late 2025 or early 2026, with the latter seemingly more likely given that we are over halfway through November. As a reminder, the Ultrahuman Ring Air is still available in Europe (curr. €379 at Amazon DE).
