We earlier reported that Casio will soon bring the long-awaited G-Show DWN-5600 “Nano” series to Europe after its Japan debut. The miniature watch is now available in the UK and is already selling out.
The black model (DWN-5600-1) sold out completely in less than 24 hours. It is no longer available on the Casio UK store.
The ring-size DWN-5600 is the diminutive version of the classic DW-5600, offering the same durability that the G-Shock series is known for. It is available for £79.90 and customers can choose from three colors: black, yellow (DWN-5600-9), and red (DWN-5600-4).
The Nano Casio measures 23.4 x 20 x 7.5 mm, compared to 48.9 x 42.8 x 13.4 mm of the regular version. Despite its small size, the new watch supports most of the features of the larger model, including dual time zones. It has an LED backlight, a replaceable battery, and retains the same 200-meter water resistance. Fans can wear the Nano on their fingers like a ring.
The Nano was an instant hit in Japan and reportedly sold out its pre-orders. No launch date has been confirmed for the rest of Europe and the US yet.
