Teufel has released the Cinebar 22 for Dolby Atmos “5.1 set” in Europe. Designed for use with your TV, this product is marketed as a 5.1 channel soundbar, which can be expanded to a 7.1 channel system. According to the company, it is suitable for watching movies and gaming in a room measuring up to 35 m² (~377 ft²) in size.
As standard, the Teufel Cinebar 22 has two 50 mm full-range drivers, three 25 mm tweeters and three 100 mm mid-range drivers. The system can be expanded to a 7.1 channel soundbar when users also purchase two wireless Effekt 2 rear speakers (curr. €314.99 at Amazon DE). It is also said to support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.
The Teufel soundbar is accompanied by a wireless subwoofer, which can be placed vertically or horizontally, meaning it could slide under a sofa or in a TV cabinet. Users can choose between various sound modes, including night, music and neutral. Plus, you can wirelessly cast music via Bluetooth 5.3. The HDMI port supports 4K pass-through with HDR, Dolby Vision and 3D, as well as eARC and CEC. The soundbar comes with a remote control and an integrated touch panel. It has a black or white casing with a metal front grille, measuring 100 x 7.8 x 14.7 cm (~39.4 x 3.1 x 5.8 inches).
