New Philips Hue Twilight smart bedside lamp leaks
The Philips Hue Twilight smart bedside lamp has been leaked. While the company already offers a range of table lamps, including the Go Smart Portable Lamp, this will be the first product designed specifically for your bedside.
Images of the upcoming Philips Hue Twilight (below) appeared in a report by Smartlights.de, showing two light sources: a light under a shade at the front and a wide light bar at the rear to reflect light off the wall. The lights can be controlled separately, with adjustable brightness, white and colored light, preset scenes and a smart sleep mode. Like other Philips Hue smart lights, the device will be controllable via an app, or voice commands thanks to Zigbee and Bluetooth. Plus, you will be able to manually adjust the lamp using the button on top of the shade, cycling through scenes, triggering sleep mode, or switching it on or off.
The Twilight is said to be 33 cm (~13 inches) tall and available in black or white with a matching power cord running out of the brown base. Further details, such as the peak brightness and RRP, have yet to be revealed. It remains to be seen when the Philips Hue Twilight White and Color Ambiance smart bedside lamp will launch, with rumors suggesting it could be officially revealed later this year.
