Marshall has announced the Bromley 750 Party Speaker. This is the first speaker of its kind from the brand, which already offers a range of portable speakers, amplifiers and wireless headphones.
Designed for use outdoors or in your living room, the Bromley 750 Party Speaker is said to provide a 360° audio experience. There are two 10-inch 150W woofers, two 5.25-inch 50W mid-ranges, two 1-inch 7W tweeters and two 0.8-inch 14W tweeters. Users can adjust the 'sound character' with a dedicated knob, with 'Loud' at one end of the spectrum and 'Dynamic' at the other. There are 1/4" and XLP inputs for microphones, as well as 3.5 mm audio, and USB-C ports. Plus, you can wirelessly connect to the speaker via Bluetooth 5.3 (Auracast), with remote controls via the Marshall Bluetooth app.
The Bromley 750's battery should deliver up to 40 hours of playback time, and the power pack is removable for easy recharging. The rectangular speaker has a black and gold palette in line with the design of the brand's classic amps. Behind the griller are rows of LED lights, mimicking vintage stage lighting. Users can choose from three lighting modes, two of which can sync to the music playing. It measures 652 x 413 x 355 mm (~25.7 x 16.3 x 14 inches) and weighs 24 kg (~52.9 lbs), with integrated wheels and an extending handle to make it easier to transport. Plus, it is IP54-rated dust and splash resistant.
The Marshall Bromley 750 Party Speaker will be released on September 23rd with a $1,299.99/£899.99/€999.00 RRP. The company has yet to announce plans to launch this model in other markets like the US, where it already sells models like the Acton III, a compact Bluetooth speaker, for $299.99 (curr. $229.99 at Amazon).
