Xiaomi has slowly kicked off the second round of its MIUI 12 rollout, with updates to the phones like the Mi 10, Mi 10 Lite, and Redmi Note 8 Pro all seeding over the past 24 hours. Two other phones are now also receiving MIUI 12 updates: the Redmi Note 9 and Mi 9T.
This isn't the first MIUI 12 update the Mi 9T is getting, of course, as it was one of the first phones to receive MIUI 12. This update is a stable build, and is rolling out to Mi 9T owners in Europe. The update bears the software designation "MIUI 12 V12.0.2.0 QFJEUXM".
For the Redmi Note 9, this is an early MIUI 12 build, and is currently only rolling out in Xiaomi's home country of China. The update is also seeding for the Redmi 10X 4G, which is really just a rebadged Redmi Note 9. The build bears the designation "MIUI V12.0.3.0.QJOCNXM". This kickstarts the MIUI 12 rollout for the Redmi Note 9, and owners of the mid-range can now look forward to more MIUI 12 updates.
