New Huawei smartwatch with detachable camera launches

Huawei has revealed the new Watch Kids X1 Pro. This smartwatch was unveiled alongside the Watch Kids X1 and other wearables at a global launch event held by the brand in Bangkok, Thailand.
There are many similarities between the Watch Kids X1 and the Watch Kids X1 Pro. For example, both models have a 1.82-inch AMOLED display, GNSS dual-band technology, a health assistant and an Emergency SOS function.
The main difference between the two is found in the watch's body. The Huawei Watch Kids X1 Pro has a detachable body, which can be placed in the accompanying camera case accessory. For comparison, the standard Watch Kids X1 has a flippable and rotatable body, allowing the user to access both the front 5MP camera and the rear 13MP camera. The Pro model also comes with double the storage; according to Huawei, the 64GB memory should allow you to store over 5,000 photos.
Another difference between the standard and Pro versions of the Huawei Watch Kids X1 is the rigid plastic strap, in place of a silicone band. This makes the smartwatch slightly heavier at 72 g (~2.54 oz) rather than 70 g (~2.45 oz).
It is unclear when the Huawei Watch Kids X1 Pro will be released. It is not expected to be sold in the US; instead, readers could consider the Garmin Bounce 2 smartwatch (curr. $249.99 at Amazon).
