The Govee Outdoor Lamp Post Lights are about to launch in the US. This tall smart light is designed to help you to illuminate your driveway or garden with a wide lighting area of 32 ft (~10 m).
The Outdoor Lamp Post Lights are fitted with 54 RGBIC LEDs and are said to deliver up to 2,000 lumens brightness. The lamp can be split into six independently controllable zones, with color temperatures between 2,700 and 6,500 K and a wide range of colors on offer. The lights have a built-in infrared sensor with a 20 ft (~6 m) radius, allowing it to be triggered when a person is detected. Plus, an ambient light sensor can be used to adjust the brightness based on current light levels.
You can remotely control the Outdoor Lamp Post Lights in the Govee Home app or with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant voice commands. Plus, support for Matter means it will integrate with most smart home ecosystems. It is suitable for outdoor use thanks to IP66 dust and waterproofing and can be installed with u-shaped floor nails, screw mounting, or temporary water bags. Plus, the 97.6 inches (~248 cm) tall lamp has a metal pole with an anti-rust coating.
Govee will officially launch its Outdoor Lamp Post Lights in the US on May 16th with an RRP of $429.99. It remains to be seen whether or when these smart lights could launch in other regions like Europe.
