New Casio Ring Watch with striking gold design on the way

The Casio Ring Watch CRW001JB-9 has been revealed in the US. Designed in partnership with artist J Balvin, this limited edition accessory has a striking gold design.

Casio’s Ring Watch CRW001JB-9 has a golden hued digital display, surrounded by a gold colored dial sporting a brick pattern. The stainless steel casing is also gold toned, and there are eight rhinestones set along its bezel. On the back of the ring is a flower design, a signature for Balvin, and the product comes with custom packaging, including a ring box and cloth bag.

The Casio CRW001 supports dual time, with users able to choose between 12 and 24 hour formats. The time should remain accurate to within 30 seconds each month, and the calendar is fully automatic. In low-lighting, an LED backlight can be used to make the display easier to read. Other tools on the ring watch include a 1/100th second stopwatch, and daily and hourly flash alerts. It has an estimated battery life of two years and is water resistant for everyday use.

In the US, the Casio Ring Watch CRW001JB-9 will retail for $200. Pre-orders will open at the Casio US store on May 28th, with the accessory set for release on June 4th. While it is marketed as a limited edition product, Casio has not indicated how many units will be available. Whether or when it could launch in other markets like Europe is unclear.
