2024's Motorola Razr+ received pretty good reviews when it launched last year. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip competitor featured a slew of new, useful features such as eSIM support and wireless charging, in addition to great (but not the best) specs. Currently, Amazon has a solid deal going on the flip smartphone that brings it down to the $500 mark, thanks to a first-time 50% discount. This is the lowest-ever price we've seen for this model, as per Amazon price tracking website camelcamelcamel.
Building on that, the 2024 Moto Razr+ has elements of both nostalgia and modern functionality. It has a compact foldable form factor and a 3.6-inch external display. This outer screen offers quick access to notifications, widgets, and apps, without needing to unfold the device. Inside, it boasts a 6.9-inch FHD+ main display with a 165Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the Razr+ is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Its dual-camera setup includes a 50MP primary lens and a 50MP telephoto shooter. On the front, a 32MP selfie camera takes care of video calls and selfies.
The phone is equipped with global carrier compatibility. Our review rated the Moto Razr+ highly for its refined aesthetics. The enormous external display—spanning almost the entire front cover—makes it stand out in a market where foldables often make compromises in usability when closed. However, it's not without its quirks. As noted in our review, while the processor holds up well for most tasks, gamers may notice frame drops in resource-heavy scenarios, particularly with the heat buildup under load. Also, the absence of a wide-angle lens might deter photography fans.
All things considered - at $499, this is a deal that’s hard to pass up for anyone considering a foldable phone. Please note that the deal is available only in the Midnight blue colorway.
