Those on the lookout for a capable charger than does not skimp on portability will find the Ugreen Nexode 65-watt GaN charger with three output ports to be a perfectly decent choice. Thanks to an ongoing sale on Amazon that slashes its price down to its lowest ever, the product can now be purchased for just $25.19. Those interested in the four-port variant should note that it was recently available for just $0.6 more, although it is no longer on sale.
The Ugreen Nexode GaN charger packs a total of three output ports, two of which are of the USB-C kind. These two ports can output the advertised 65 watts each, when either is used at a time. The remaining port is of the the USB-A flavor, capable of a maximum output 22.5 watts, which should be enough for smaller USB-C gadgets such as earbuds, portable speakers, etc. Unsurprisingly, the Nexode GaN charger supports dual and triple-port charging as well. When all the three ports are used at once, the two USB-C and and single USB-A port can output 45 watts, 8.5 watts, and 8.5 watts respectively.
When only two ports are used at once, the output allocation changes yet again, and has been depicted in the image below. The 65-watt output is enough to juice up thin and light laptops, such as the MacBook Air, which can be charged to 51% in just half an hour. Its 2.5 x 1.5 x 1.2 inch chassis makes it commendably compact for what it offers, thanks to the utilization of GaN technology which allows for impressive efficiency, and thereby a smaller footprint. All told, at its current all-time low sale price on Amazon, the Ugreen Nexode 3-port 65-watt GaN charger brings decent value to the table for those with multiple gadgets.
