Motorola Razr 50 Ultra shows up in leaked teaser video with waterproof case and huge secondary display
Over the past few weeks, the most important specifications and the euro prices of the Motorola Razr 50 and the Razr 50 Ultra have been leaked. Now the enormously reliable leaker @MysteryLupin was able to publish the teaser video embedded below, which shows the Razr 50+ 2024, i.e. the US version of the Razr 50 Ultra.
Among other things, the video shows the larger secondary display in action - while the Razr 40 Ultra (approx. 880 euros on Amazon) still had to make do with a 3.6-inch panel, the screen diagonal of the successor grows to 4 inches and the screen edges are significantly smaller. The video shows an app selection on this second display so that users can start frequently used applications without having to open the smartphone.

Also new: The Razr 50 Ultra is IPx8 certified and therefore also protected against drops into water, while the IP52 certification of the Razr 40 Ultra only guarantees protection against water splashes. The video speaks of an "AI telephoto camera", but since the smartphone only has a 50-megapixel dual camera, this could refer to improved digital zoom.
The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra will be launched in Europe with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB flash memory for €1,199. For this price, buyers will receive a modern foldable phone with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, a 6.9-inch 165 Hz main display, a 4,000 mAh battery with 45-watt fast charging, and a 32 MP selfie camera, in addition to the aforementioned upgrades to a 4-inch 165 Hz secondary display and a 50 MP dual camera.
