Minisforum has unveiled a sibling to its recently launched AtomMan G7 Pt, dubbed the G7 Ti. Unlike the all-AMD G7 Pt, however, the G7 Ti boasts Intel's Core i9 14900HX CPU along with a discrete RTX 4070 Laptop GPU. Performance should be similar to the G7 Pt, but it never hurts to have more options.

Minisforum has introduced the AtomMan G7 Ti at Computex 2024, which belongs to the company's "AtomMan" lineup of high-end mini PCs. With a 24-core 14th gen Intel Core i9  (Raptor Lake-HX) processor and RTX 4070 Laptop graphics, the system surely packs more performance than the average mini PC. However, it might be worth noting that the G7 Ti is, in essence, a rebranded version of the HN14X announced back in April of this year, possibly to fit in with the AtomMan family for a global launch.

Unlike the AtomMan G7 Pt which launched earlier this year with all-AMD internals, the G7 Ti drops team red in favor of an Intel + Nvidia pairing. It rocks the i9 14900HX high-end mobile CPU with 24 cores and 32 threads, and a single-core boost clock of a whopping 5.8 GHz. Although not quite as powerful as the G7 Pt's Ryzen 9 7945HX  in multi-threaded workloads, it packs ample performance for most demanding workloads. Support for dual channel DDR5 memory is also present, along with dual PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 slots for internal storage.

Speaking of graphics, the AtomMan G7 Ti features the RTX 4070 Laptop GPU, which is a shade faster than the RX 7600M XT found in the G7 Pt. Proper cooling will surely be a significant factor influencing real-world performance, but only independent testing can shed light on that. In contrast to the AtomMan X7 Pt launched alongside, there is no support for liquid cooling, which is a shame because it would've certainly allowed the powerful internals to reach their full potential.

As for connectivity, the AtomMan G7 Ti gets a solid variety of ports, including USB 4.0, USB 3.1, 2x USB 3.0, HDMI 2.1, an SD card reader (unspecified standard), and gigabit ethernet. DisplayPort is unfortunately absent, so users will have to be settle for the single HDMI 2.1 port. For wireless connectivity, WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 have been included. As of right now, we don't know much regarding its cost or availability, but will be sure to convey any relevant information when available.
