Meta Glasses Charging Stand launches for $59

Meta announced a new pair of smart glasses earlier this week, and like its other glasses, they come with a charging case which has a built-in battery. Now, Meta has announced a charging stand that works with several, but not all of its smart glasses.
The Meta Glasses Charging Stand is for those who want an extra charger that they can use at work or at home by their bedside. Shaped like a cross-cut cylinder with a stainless steel shell and rubber foot, there's a USB-C port on the back, so you need a USB-C cable and a power adapter for the charger. Once connected, simply place your glasses in the ridge, and your glasses should start charging. There's an LED on the charging stand that lights up orange when your glasses are charging, and turns green when they are full.
Meta says the Glasses Charging Stand should charge supported glasses to 50% in 20 minutes while a full charge takes just over an hour. It also advises that the temples should be folded before placing the glasses on the charging stand.
Priced at $59 and available on the Meta website and at its physical retail stores, the Meta Glasses Charging Stand is compatible with the Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer, Ray-Ban Meta Skyler, Ray-Ban Meta Headliner, Ray-Ban Meta Blayzer Optics, Ray-Ban Meta Scriber Optics, Oakley Meta HSTN, Meta Fury, Meta Adventurer, and Meta Starfire. It is not compatible with the Meta Ray-Ban Display and Oakley Meta Vanguard.
If Meta's charging stand is too expensive, there are third-party charging stands or docks for Meta Glasses such as the Carina S1 (available on Amazon for $29.99). However, you have to be sure the charger is compatible with your glasses.
