Over two months have passed since we heard from Honor's first Snapdragon X-powered laptop. Since then, the company has started selling successors to the Magic6 Pro (curr. $860 on Amazon) featuring Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, albeit only in China for the time being. Now, its first Snapdragon X-powered laptop has received the same treatment.
To recap, the MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon debuted during IFA 2024 in Berlin. As we discussed at the time, Honor confirmed that the MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon would combine a Snapdragon X Elite X1E-80-100 chipset with a 3:2 and 14.6-inch OLED display that outputs at 3,120 x 2080 pixels and 120 Hz. Moreover, Honor now claims that the display delivers an impressive 97% screen-to-body ratio within a 316.77 x 223.63 mm housing that is 11.5 mm thick at its thinnest point.

On top of that, the MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon is said to weigh approximately 1.02 kg, despite the inclusion of a 60 Wh battery that can reach full charge in 98 minutes. Furthermore, Honor has included six speakers, three microphones and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, as well as ports like HDMI 2.1 TMDS (4K/60 Hz) and USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A.
Currently, the MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon is only available in China. However, GSMArena indicates that Honor may soon release the laptop outside its home market. For reference, the MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon retails for CNY 8,499 (~$1,179) in China with 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. In other words, the Snapdragon model costs as much as its Intel Core Ultra 5 125H-powered counterpart with the same memory combination. Unfortunately, pricing for other markets remains unknown for now.
