MacBook Pro 14 gets turned on in sultry unboxing video and features in side-by-side live shot with the 13-inch Apple MacBook Pro
An M1 Max MacBook Pro 14 has turned up in a short unboxing video (embedded below) where the device not only gets taken out of its surprisingly tiny box but also gets turned on while those involved in shooting the clip seem to get somewhat hot under the collar by the laptop’s mere presence. The Apple MacBook Pro 14 looks sleek in silver when it is taken out of its protective sleeve and as the lid is lifted up the computer starts to boot, revealing its notched display in all of its glory.
If you can ignore the breathy and expectant groan of “yes” coming from the clearly excited camera operator, then you will be treated to a good look at the MacBook Pro 14’s display lighting up and showing off its notch. It’s likely there will be plenty of people who will happily criticize Apple’s decision to use a notch on its 2021 MacBook Pro laptops, but it does leave the MacBook with extremely slim bezels at the sides and top. Of course, the notch is also vital as it contains the laptop’s webcam.
A live shot of the MacBook Pro 14 sitting next to a 13-inch MacBook Pro shows just how improved the new machine is in regard to design, as no doubt the M1 Max SoC is certainly going to be streets ahead of the M1 Apple Silicon in performance terms. The display on the newer MacBook looks more modern and refined and the keyboard also seems cleaner and better-designed. The “MacBook Pro” logo is gone from the chin and the divisive notch is literally front and center for all to gaze upon.
