Deal | Lenovo's premium tablet with 4K 144 Hz display and 11,000 mAh battery gets a $130 discount

The Lenovo Yoga Tab Gen 2 went on sale just last month and has already received its first discount. Originally priced at $729.99, the new 11.1-inch tablet is a more affordable alternative to the larger 13-inch Snapdragon-powered Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 (curr: $799.99 at Lenovo). Lenovo has now cut its price by $130, bringing it down to $599.99.

For the price, the Yoga Tab Gen 2 includes the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor, paired with 8 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 4.1 storage. It's a high-end chip released earlier this year, though it trails the older Snapdragon 8 Elite found in the Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 and other flagship tablets, such as the OnePlus Pad 3 (Notebookcheck review), by around 14% in our benchmarks.

Despite its smaller screen, the Yoga Tab Gen 2 has the same 3840 × 2560 resolution as its bigger cousin, which should deliver sharper images and crisper text at 415 PPI. The display reaches 1,100 nits in HDR and offers a fast 144 Hz refresh rate alongside 98% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut, making it well suited to gaming, light productivity, and creative tasks, especially with the included stylus.

Other features include four speakers, an 11,000 mAh battery, an 8 MP front camera, and a 13 MP rear camera. It also supports a desktop mode, though early reviews suggest it's not as polished as Samsung DeX. That said, the tablet ships with Android 17 and will receive major OS updates until Android 24, along with security updates through 2033.

Buyers get the Yoga Tab Gen 2 tablet plus the new Tab Pen Pro 2 and a 2-in-1 Keyboard Pack in the box. Check out our original launch coverage for more information.
