Archive.org versionAs was the case with the ThinkBook 13s, the ThinkBook 14s is a real winner for the price. You can get a heck of a lot for under a thousand dollars, and it's more than the sum of its parts. This is a great PC. There are two big problems though. One is that it doesn't charge with USB Type-C, and that's particularly annoying. The other is that the screen is too dim, so if you're thinking about using it outdoors a lot, it's not for you.

AMD Radeon RX 540X: Polaris based mid-range graphics card with 512 shaders (8 compute units) and a maximum clock speed of 1,219 MHz (according to AMD). Very similar to the older RX 540 with maybe slightly higher clock speeds.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.
