The Lenovo Tab M10 is a budget tablet that is fun for the whole family. The tablet includes child-friendly features and offers a well-rounded spec sheet for its price. However, the cheaper alternative to the Tab P10 has its work cut out to stake a claim in a saturated and competitive tablet market.

With the second generation of the Tab M7, Lenovo brings a very low-priced tablet to the market, which, despite its weak hardware, cuts a very fine figure. Thanks to Android Go, there is no unnecessary bloatware, and for only 79 Euros (~$88), the tablet delivers almost everything you can expect from such a device.

Lenovo has updated its range of affordable tablets and created an Android Pie device with an 8-inch screen: the Tab M8 HD. The tablet is available from $140 and provided users don't expect a particularly high performance, they will not be disappointed by what they get for their money.

Lenovo Tab M10 FHD Plus
The Lenovo M10 Plus is the newest Lenovo tablet to enter the market. It comes with a 10.3-inch IPS LCD display with a 1920 x 1200 resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The display provides a normal brightness level that is definitely suitable for most situations. By default, everything looks natural, and it is obviously nice to be used. As for the viewing angles, they look normal, with typical fading at an angle, but without distortion of other colors. The tablet fits a larger display in a smaller chassis than its predecessor, mainly due to the shrunken surrounding bezels. The front of the tablet has a relatively thin bezel. The device is available in two color options, namely Gray and Platinum.
In terms of performance, an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22T processor has been incorporated within the tablet to run everything along with up to 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of onboard storage. However, there is also an option to increase the storage further by up to 256 GB. The processor itself includes eight Cortex-A53 cores, four of which work with a clock frequency of up to 2.3 GHz, and four cores with a maximum clock frequency of up to 1.8 GHz. The Rogue GE8320 graphics accelerator is from PowerVR. Apart from that, the Lenovo M10 Plus runs with the older Android 9 Pie version with little to no customizations from the brand. While there is a headphone jack built into the tablet, Lenovo has also included a pair of stereo speakers for a better audio experience.
As far as the battery is concerned, the M10 Plus has a 5,000mAh battery pack that is charged through the dedicated USB Type-C port of the tablet. For users who are always on the move, the tablet also includes an option to latch onto a 4G LTE network thanks to its SIM-card slot. Apart from that, this device provides dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 along with FM Radio and GPS. In addition, the tablet has been incorporated with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and an 8-megapixel sensor on the opposite side for user convenience.
The tablet also supports a unique Google Assistant Ambient Mode, which allows the users to use the tablet as a Google Home screen that always waits for the ‘OK, Google’ command from the users using a pair of onboard microphones. At the purchase of the tablet, there is furthermore an inclusion of a Smart Charging Station which connects the tablet via pogo pins to keep it charged up without having to worry about the battery life when the smart screen is being used. Lenovo also has included a Kid’s Mode in the tablet with kids-specific content to keep them entertained and engaged.

The Lenovo Tab M10 FHD Plus is a bit of a jack of all trades. It has an exceptional premium design, but it doesn’t stand out in any particular way beyond that. That doesn’t mean it’s bad – it means it’s a solid all-rounder. For a family, I can see it suiting parents, teens and kids alike. In its price range, it’s very hard to beat.

The Lenovo Tab M10 HD is a budget full-sized tablet that certainly looks and feels good for its price, and it really doesn’t cost very much at all. However, its positioning as a budget media player is undermined by a lowly display, terrible performance, and mediocre battery life.

Due to its strong features and three-year update policy, the Tab M10 Plus has the potential to become a real bestseller, but only when the price drops. This might sound paradoxical for such a low-priced tablet with stylus support, but there's a reason for it.

I think when it comes to a tablet, the formula is relatively easy. For the most part, Lenovo nails many aspects that have become familiar to Android tablet users, including the design, materials, and display. It even packs a little extra "punch" with its quad-speaker design. Unfortunately, I think Lenovo compromised a lot here with this tablet. The device's lackluster performance was quite jarring. I didn't expect something built recently to have such a glaring performance issue when just swiping through menus and webpages. I even reset the tablet and started fresh to ensure it wasn't a software issue, but the problems still persisted. All that said, it might not be a bad buy if you need a basic tablet. Before you buy this tablet, head to a local store and see if you can give it a test drive. Only then will you know if these types of problems will affect your workflow.

Lenovo's Tab M10 Plus checks all the budget Android tablet boxes; it's a low-powered computer tucked under a decent display that'll let you perform basic tasks on the go. If you just need something simple and inexpensive to reply to emails, watch videos, browse the web, and do some reading, you won't be disappointed. It won't be a perfect experience, especially given the tablet's annoying lag, but you should be ready to accept this compromise if price is your primary concern.

In conclusion, we can say that the Lenovo Tab M10 Plus Gen 3 is a tablet that will definitely satisfy the needs of students, and people, who need a portable device for entertainment. It features a large 10.6-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2000 by 1200 and a pretty decent maximum brightness. Its quad-speaker setup will make even significantly more expensive tablets cry for their mommy. However, we are brought back to reality by the camera quality. It is not the best out there, and even in well-lit conditions, the limitations of Full HD video can be seen. We had the Wi-Fi model, which features the Helio G80 SoC, and we can say that it leaves something on the table in terms of performance. Although it is not the most powerful chip out there, it is good for day-to-day tasks like studying, watching videos, and playing the occasional non-intensive game. Moreover, its efficiency is fantastic. Our unit dropped only 4% of its battery for 20 minutes of gaming, which equals about 8 hours and 20 minutes of continuous gameplay.

The Lenovo Tab M10 Plus Gen 3 is a budget Android tablet that delivers middling performance for a decent price. Cheap tablets like this are great for kids and budget-minded shoppers. Despite its unimpressive performance and lack of distinguishing features, the Lenovo Tab M10 Plus Gen 3 is ideal for people who mainly watch streaming videos or read e-books — especially if you demand long battery life. If you’re looking for an alternative, the Amazon Fire HD 10 not only offers better performance and almost as much battery life, but it also costs $40 to $60 less than Lenovo’s slate. However, you are stuck working within Amazon’s FireOS operating system, which is more limited than pure Android. If you want more options, check out our guide to the best cheap tablets. Conversely, if you like Apple products, the iPad 2021 is a solid choice. Sure, it’s a bit long in the tooth at this point, but it still outperforms the Tab M10 Plus Gen 3 by a fair margin and is now regularly discounted to $269 or less.

If you want a premium content viewing experience with a budget under $200, the Lenovo M10 Plus should be at the top of your list. The display makes movies and YouTube playback immensely enjoyable. I like that it can back up a wonderful display with performance that, while not perfect, is still good enough for the price. Between the build quality, the display, and the battery life, the Lenovo Tab M10 Plus proves that, sometimes, you can buy a well-balanced tablet without having to sacrifice the Play Store to get it.

This is more of a reliable multimedia tablet. Lenovo Tab M10 Plus is designed for users who are not too demanding. It's a budget tablet designed for media viewing and everyday work. If you’re looking for a solid Android tablet for under $200, then the Lenovo Tab M10 Plus (Gen 3) is a great choice. As long as you keep in mind that it’s not as powerful as other tablets on the market, you won’t ever be truly disappointed by what the Tab M10 Plus is bringing to the table outside of some ill-timed app crashes. As a device for widescreen streaming and simple app usage? You could do a lot worse even when spending a lot more. The Lenovo Tab M10 Plus (Gen 2) can still be found at most electronics retailers at a discounted price, but there are enough meaningful improvements to the third generation — as well as the promise of Android 13 later down the line — that it’s a good idea to stick with it even if it might be slightly more expensive. The only other tablet on the market at the same price point as the Tab M10 Plus (Gen 3) would be the Galaxy Tab A. However, while it boasts similar specs, it has a much lower screen resolution. Obviously, you’ll be able to find more powerful tablets that can run professional programs and apps at just about every retailer you visit, but those will all start at upwards of $300. If you’re looking for a powerhouse tablet, then something like the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro Gen 2 would be a better option. But if all you need is a streaming and e-reading tablet, then you don’t need to waste the money on something with features you won’t use. For the right person and budget, this could very well be one of the best tablets you can buy.

The Lenovo Tab M10 Plus is for people who want a solid tablet experience for a good price. You want a tablet that can do the essentials like binge-watching content, reading e-books, browsing the web, and checking up on social media. When it comes to gaming, you won’t have an issue with playing some lower-powered favorites, but once you get into 3D games, be prepared for a little lag. The display, speakers, and performance are middle-of-the-road, but they’re not offensive. They get the job done. Overall, this tablet is fantastic for the price, and I recommend it.

The third-gen Lenovo Tab M10 is a budget 10-inch tablet with GPS and a decent amount of storage for its price. But you'll need to put up with with some drawbacks in terms of battery life and screen brightness. In this review, we'll discuss whether this inexpensive tablet is worth buying regardless.

The Lenovo Tab M9 is a lightweight tablet in a somewhat unusual 9-inch format. This makes it ideal for anyone who wants the largest possible screen in the lightest and most compact chassis possible. Since it even has GPS, it should be a great deal for around US$150, right?

If we’re being honest, it’s hard to fully recommend the Lenovo Tab M9. Typically, there is a use case for every device. Still, this budget tablet doesn’t undercut the cheapest options on price, doesn’t outperform comparable options, and suffers some frustrating technical issues that are enough to make you swear off budget devices altogether. Yes, the battery is big enough to get you by, and the Reading Mode does impress, but you can find bigger batteries and more immersive reading modes on other tablets that are at least close when it comes to prices. All of this to say, there are better tablets out there that are certainly worth your time more than this one, and for not all that much more cash, either.

For the price of Rs 20,000 approx., the Lenovo Tab M11 is an interesting proposition. It is a well-built tablet with a good display for content consumption along with a high refresh rate screen, good sound output and a decent battery life. It also comes with a pen in the box which runs on an AAAA battery and is great if you have kids who want to draw or are an artist yourself or simply like to take notes by hand. On the downslide, the viewing angles of the display could have been better and the tablet does not support fast charging. The cameras aren’t anything to write home about either. If you are looking for a tablet to be your content consumption partner on the go or simply want something larger than your phone while others hog the TV, then you can consider the M11.

Priced at Rs 17,999, the Lenovo Tab M11 provides excellent value by bundling a functional pen, strategically placing a 3.5mm audio jack, and offering LTE connectivity at an affordable price point. Additionally, it delivers satisfactory picture quality for consuming content. However, it does lag in terms of battery and performance. For those seeking a utility-focused tablet without stretching their budget, the Tab M11 presents a compelling option. However, for customers whose priorities do not include note-taking, exploring alternatives from other brands that excel in areas like battery life, charging speed, and performance might be worth considering.

For only £199 for the cheapest option, the Lenovo Tab M11 is a positive experience in many ways. It’s genuinely well-built and feels more luxurious to hold than the price tag indicates, and it has a great set of solutions for both family and productivity. However, weak performance and some mediocre hardware hold the Tab M11 back, and it fails to fulfil all of its own lofty ambitions.

In the market of mid-range tablets, the Lenovo Tab M11 emerges as a compelling contender, offering a blend of affordability, functionality, and durability that is particularly appealing to students and casual users. With its robust aluminum build, a display that balances brightness and smoothness thanks to the 90Hz refresh rate, and a user experience enriched by thoughtful software features, it positions itself as a versatile tool for both educational and leisure activities. However, the Tab M11 is not without its limitations. Performance, while sufficient for everyday tasks and moderate gaming, may not satisfy the demands of those seeking a seamless experience with more intensive applications. Similarly, while the battery life is commendable and supports fast charging, heavy usage can see it deplete more rapidly than some may expect.

7.00:
This display format is in the mid-range for smartphones. It offers a compromise between good visibility, details and resolution on the screen, and you can still fit it into trouser pockets.
8.00:
Large smartphones and a few small tablets are available for this display size. Unlike most smartphones, you can see more on the screen, more details and use larger resolutions. Such formats are better for people with defective vision. However, such devices are no longer easy to fit in a pocket, and they are probably not quite light either.
9.00:
This display format is used for small tablets and a few very big smartphones (so big that they are rather tablets). This is for customers who want a small portable tablet with a display which is at least much bigger than usual smartphone displays.

73.54%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
