Lenovo Tab M10 Plus Gen 3 review verdict: Multimedia is the main focus of the affordable tablet
The third-generation Lenovo Tab M10 Plus is a good Android tablet in the budget mid-range.
The third-generation Tab M10 Plus has four speakers and a high-resolution 2K panel. Furthermore, the 10.6-inch display supports stylus input, which is hard to find in this price range. Nevertheless, the low price comes at the expense of various drawbacks.

In our review, the third-generation Tab M10 Plus proves to be a good mid-range tablet in the lower price segment with a focus on media consumption. Thanks to the four speakers, great battery life, and the relatively high-resolution 2K IPS panel, the Lenovo Tab is ideally suited for playing videos and movies. Especially since streaming content can be viewed in high resolution on the 10.6-inch display thanks to the DRM-L1 certification. Furthermore, the aluminum case adds a certain value to the mid-range tablet, even if the glued on areas leave ugly residues on the metal surface.
Nevertheless, the third-generation Tab M10 Plus isn't designed for productive work. Unlike the sibling models of the P series, the affordable mid-range tablet doesn't have the contact elements at the bottom of the case that are needed for the magnetic keyboard cover. But the Tab M10 Plus Gen 3 still supports the optionally available Lenovo Precision Pen 2 with its 4,096 pressure levels. Users who want to use the pen input will currently have to invest another 50 Euros (~$51) in a Precision Pen 2.
Besides the more comprehensive accessories, the Tab P11 Plus sibling model is significantly more powerful than the Tab M10 Plus Gen 3, while it also offers better features. However, the two Lenovo tablets are on par in terms of price, so that the advantages of last year's mid-range tablet have to be weighed against the Tab M10 Plus' slightly longer software support.

I have always been very passionately interested in mobile technologies, especially smartphones. Being a tech enthusiast means the half-life of my devices isn’t exactly long, and being the latest hardware is not enough to suffice as the manufacturer and operating system play a minor role – the most important aspect for me is that the device is state-of-the-art. After posting for Mobi Test I joined Notebookcheck in 2016, where I have been pursuing my enthusiasm for technology by reviewing the latest smartphone, tablet, and accessory trends.

I've been fascinated with technology ever since I got my very first Android smartphone, which was quite a while ago. The power packed into such a small footprint still amazes me. Learning to program made my understanding of technology deeper, and at the same time, it expanded my interest to the area of desktop computers and laptops. All this led me to enjoy reading and watching reviews of new devices, and that's how I stumbled upon Notebookcheck. I immediately found their reviews to be very comprehensive, and luckily, I've even had the chance of translating them since 2019. When it comes to the huge field of technology, I'm currently also interested in specializing in Java programming.
